a Michigan-based manufacturer of "Authentic Americana" that was in business from 1947-1987
Vintage Uncle Sam Carnival Game Topper cities 25" W x 10" Dc. 1930s; International Mutoscope Corp. New York Vintage coin op personality machine topper. This piece, first designed in 1908 by Caille Brothers Co., was once part of a carnival arcade personality tester. The coin op machine "judged" your personality based on a handshake with Uncle Sam. The hand has been replaced here with a closed fist around a gun, not nearly as welcoming as the handshake. The personality meter was removed at some point in time
