Lychnis Hill Grounds Gloxinia Like all Venus fly-trapsLychnis 'Hill Grounds' is an amazing new sterile rose campion, that occurred at the UK garden of Janet Cropley of Northamptonshire. This gem is a hybrid between Lychnis flos jovis and the typically weedy Lychnis coronaria. Lychnis 'Hill Grounds' forms an evergreen basal rosette of gray foliage, topped, starting in early May (NC), with 2' tall open sprays, producing a profusion of vivid magenta flowers. The flowers, which continue until late summer,
